People say reservist can go canteen, can sleep in bunk, can cao keng, can lum nua, can even play mahjong. I will say that all these are nothing but myths of reservist.
Today we all went outfield. Its common for my other army friends to do outfield but its extremely rare for us to go to the wilderness. Bcoz we're trained in urban Chemical Defence (CD) when we were NSF. But we're supposed to do rural CD during reservist, hence = wilderness. OMG. Super xiong. Went to build weird weird tents and start weird weird engines for some water spray under the hot hot son. I feel more like a boy scout/ bangla doing washing job then a CD engineer. Seriously, rural CD is meant for urban warfare, which i highly doubt SG will get into war with other countries.
M'sia and Indo are too stupid to use such sophisticated weapons. Hence, getting involved in a CD warfare w them is boh koh leng 1. Sigh. The best part was some Warrent Officer (WO) come kajiao our training schedule, chap siao chap bee, delay our bookout timing, made us sibei dulan. These idiots wore green too long. Wear green cannot think. Everything also wana kaypoh, show off their expertise. Damn u la. Try coming out to the private sector and u will die in the 1st second.
But i felt v happy today. Worked side by side with my old time army friends, curse and swore with them.. The feeling's gd! Also slowly thawing my r/s with a old time ex-friend. Really wish to make up more with him though! But 冰冻三尺，非一日之寒。欲速则不达。Somethings cant be done overnight. Sigh.. Will try my best to patch these deep holes ba!
